Snowcrazy are recruiting right now for 2010-11 season and welcome applications from qualified chefs, enthusiastic amateur chefs, drivers, ski hosts, housekeepers and couples. A season in the French Alps is very demanding but extremely rewarding. Work hard, play hard and you will have the time of your life! Our staff are required to drive so we are only able to employ 25yrs and older for insurance reasons.

SnowCrazy offers unforgettable unique ski chalet holidays at great prices, for people who love the mountains and enjoy scrumptious cuisine. Enjoy the perfect ambience in luxury ski chalets with hot tubs in high altitude resorts, created by experienced and fun-loving hosts.

We look for mature couples to run our luxury chalets in La Rosiere, Les Arcs and Sainte Foy. Previous winter season chalet or chef experience is preferable; completion of our Ultimate Chalet Host Cookery Course is necessary if you have neither.

PREVIOUS RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

• Cooking for groups, dinner parties or commercial experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Domestic experience (running a home, cleaning etc).
• Organisational skills and teamwork.
• Working within a set budget.

PERSONAL QUALITIES:

• Outgoing, approachable, confident, responsible, friendly.
• Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills. Dynamic.
• High standards of personal hygiene.
• Ideally aged over 25 years.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that all SnowCrazy’s guests have the best holiday ever.
• CHALET HOSTS: Ensure your chalet is run efficiently and to SnowCrazy’s standards. Cook breakfast, afternoon tea, kids tea, 5 course dinner on 6 days. Weekly shopping. Maintain chalet cleanliness.
• SKI HOSTS/DRIVERS/ASSISTANTS: Help Chalet Hosts during meal times. Ski Hosting. Snow Clearing & Driving.
• Ensure you enjoy your season and make the most of the snow!

We offer an excellent pay package including holiday pay, season lift pass, equipment hire, end of season bonus, medical insurance, all meals, excellent accommodation and travel to/from France via plane or ferry. Start dates are beginning December – end April. Mountain Bike Safari´s is a superb 7 day all inclusive mountain bike holiday in the French Alps, taking advantage of all the local resorts in the Tarentaise valley, which have world-class mountain bike trails.
